About Evans Reporting Service

Barbara J. Evans and her husband David L. Evans are the cofounders of Evans Reporting. She has reported highly publicized trials in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore throughout the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Barbara was voted the best reporter in Maryland in 1994 by her colleagues. Evans Reporting continues to lead the industry by specializing in extremely technical litigation while providing the transcripts in RealTime.

Barbara and her team of reporters have pioneered new technology in the Baltimore City courtrooms by providing RealTime transcripts via LiveNote to the judges and to counsel.

Under the leadership of David and Barbara, our clients have come to trust and depend on our reporters' reliability and timeliness.

Our office staff is responsible for the production phase, taking the complete depositions and putting them in printed form, indexing, delivering and archiving.

We were the first in Maryland to provide RealTime on LiveNote software to courts and litigators.
